Daytime Healthcare is recruiting for an experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join a pharmacy department in a private hospital in St Johns Wood.
To provide professional, managerial, and clinical leadership to all pharmacy staff.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake clinical audit projects involving the use of medicines within the Hospital.
- To identify changes in prescribing practices that may impact on the drugs budget and advise the Chief Pharmacist accordingly.
- To provide professional, managerial, and clinical leadership to all pharmacy staff.
Ideal Candidate/ Qualifications:
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Master’s degree in pharmacy/equivalent
- Clinical postgraduate diploma in Pharmacy and possibly an IP qualification.
- Postgraduate Qualification in clinical pharmacy at diploma level or equivalent qualification gained or in progress.
- MSC in Clinical Pharmacy
- Extensive post-registration experience of which 2 years must be within a clinical pharmacy role within a hospital setting.
- Significant hospital experience is essential.
