Daytime Healthcare is assisting a private hospital in St Johns Wood who are recruiting for a Band 5 Scrub Nurse to join their team.
You will be working in the Operating Theatre Department covering as a scrub nurse covering Urology and Orthopaedics.

Responsibilities:
- Working in all areas of the theatre operating department as a scrub nurse.
- Effective management of resources within the department
- Participate in education, training, and development of other staff.
- Ensure all equipment is checked before use and any faults are reported immediately.
- Help to prevent cross-infection by observing departmental policy regarding dress, the maintenance of a clean working environment, decontamination and sterilization procedures, and a high level of aseptic practice.
- Prepare patients for invasive procedures, both in anesthetics and surgery.
- Provide initial urgent or emergency care as required.
- Adhere to the procedures for the use of supplies, and ordering requirements for the Department as directed by the line manager.
Ideal Candidate/ Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or ODP / NMC
- 2-3 years of Scrub Nurse experience working in NHS or Private hospitals.
- Experience in Orthopaedics and Urology
- Experience in a wide variety of surgeries
Salary
Up to £40,804 per annum
