Daytime Healthcare is working with a Luxury Private Hospital in Marylebone who are looking for a Scrub Nurse to join their established team!
Working as a Scrub Nurse to provide clinical support to care for patients in the operating theatre environment with the highest possible standard. To provide a safe environment and actively contribute to clinical practice and duties as required. The post-holder will demonstrate and maintain strong clinical standards and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- To assist/scrub with various types of surgical procedures.
- Preparation of theatre lists and procedures.
- To liaise with Surgeons regarding procedures and requirements.
- Cover the out-of-hours on-call phone according to the on-call rota.
- A high standard of professionalism and standards is maintained at all times.
Ideal Candidates / Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with recognized postgraduate theatre qualification or equivalent experience or Registered ODP with cert HE/Diploma
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge base of theatre practice
- Experience in Orthopaedics and Urology
