Daytime Healthcare is assisting a Private Hospital in Manchester to recruit an experienced Scrub Nurse to join their Operating Theatre Department.
Description
Working as a scrub nurse in the operating theatre department covering a range of areas including plastics, General, Gynaecology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology, and Ophthalmology.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up the operating room for the patients.
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are sterile.
- Hand tools to the surgeon during operating procedures.
- Work closely with the circulating nurse.
Ideal Candidate/ Qualifications:
- Registered Scrub Nurse / NMC Or HCPC Registration
- Registered ODP with cert HE/Diploma
- Significant post-registration skills in the anaesthetic area
- To monitor and care for the sedated patients during procedures.
- Motivated and Enthusiastic
- 2 years Experience in an NHS or Private Hospital
- Experience Scrubbing in an operating theatre.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
