Daytime Healthcare is assisting a Private Hospital in St Johns Wood to recruit an experienced Scrub Nurse to join their Operating Theatre Department.
Working as an Anaesthetic nurse in the operating theatre department and assisting in the day-to-day management of the theatres.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of the theatres.
- Acts as a mentor to unqualified support staff.
- Acts in a supervisory capacity with unqualified support staff.
- To achieve a professional working relationship with all Department Users and our Hospital colleagues.
- To provide a safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing any treatment throughout all departments.
Ideal Candidate/ Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or ODP with NMC pin
- Significant post-registration skills in the anaesthetic area
- Ability to act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff.
- To monitor and care for the sedated patients during procedures.
- The ability to communicate with clarity and intelligibility in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality
- The ability to produce legible notes.

Salary:
£36,034 to £47, 733 per annum
