Theatre Scrub Nurse – Wiltshire

Job Description:

• Ensuring that the operating theatre has been sterilized
• Preparing the necessary equipment for the operation
• Sterilizing material, gloves, and gowns
• Performing initial counts of the sponges, instruments, and needles
• Liaising with other nurse teams throughout
• Helping with dressings
• Assisting the surgeon throughout the surgery with various tasks
• Getting the patient ready for the recovery room

Ideal Candidate

• NMC Registered
• Minimum of 6 months of UK NHS experience
• Excellent medical knowledge 
• Confident in clinical skills
• Advocate for patient-centered care
• Flexible and Reliable
• Valid driver’s license- assistance with mileage
